Wildflower Garden update for 13 Mar
Rode through from Linigen Pl via the nursery sniggle, show ground, horse track and muppets. All dry and in pretty good nick and getting plenty of traffic. Some tidy drainage work on the horse track section. Thanks trail fairies!
Someone has also removed the large lump of concrete brick from the hump in the middle of one of the switchbacks on the nursery section. Mixed feelings about that.....

Wylde MTB Trail update for 13 Mar
Track is dry and fast. Looks like they have been trimming the grass back from the track which is great for us Ophidiophobiacs (fear of snakes). Unfortunately the track from the M7 that drops in at the highest point of Wylde has grown to knee deep so it can be ridden down to Wylde if you are careful but is no longer rideable coming back.

New mtb shoe suggestions
Hi all, I'm looking to get myself some new Mtb shoes with clip ins. Currently got some shimano m088 but looking for something a little better. Any suggestions are welcome. ?

+1 for The Cyclery Fyshwick helped me out in a big way. Long story short, I received a substantial upgrade for free, very happy indeed.
If you can't ride it, take the easier option!
Regarding the person who placed rocks on the left hand climb/approach to the golf course rock at the Dam. If you find that line too difficult, I suggest you take the easy option on the right hand side until you're skilled enough to tackle the A line.
The rocks placed there to 'assist' the step up, actually makes it more difficult as it's loose and badly placed. It's a quite simple step up without the assistance of rocks, IF you can get your technique right.
Please don't ruin things for the majority, just to suit your own skill deficiencies.
