Withdrawn: 29 Wheel Rim 28 spoke hole
Hi all,
I broke my back wheel rim and need a new one.
Looking for a 29" rim with 28 holes. Will consider any quality rim.
Preferably would like a Stans Arch.(the importer can't supply an Arch in 28H).

Wylde MTB Trail update for 08 Mar

Reminder: WYLDE #MTB TRAIL STATUS : OPEN sunrise to sunset. Note, some repairs on Pump/Jump Track.
Also some sections of the Trail/Tracks will be closed this weekend for maintenance and improvement works.
Fri 11/3 - Jump and Pump Track Repairs. Staggered closures to minimise disruption. The Trail will remain open as per usual.
Sat 12/3 – Sun 13/3: Minor MTB Trail Repairs. No closure but please follow any directions and signage in place.
Mon 14/3: MTB Trail Repairs so some areas will be cordoned off where riders will need to dismount to go around so we don’t have to close the whole Trail.
All works are being carried out based on rider feedback and in consultation with the design and maintenance experts. We will update the status of works as we go so riders are aware of any further changes.
The Trust appreciates your patience and support of the Trail as these important works are carried out. Happy riding!

Maintenance after riding thorugh a river
I did a ride over the weekend that included riding through numerous knee deep river crossings where the bike was semi submerged.
Should I be looking at re-greasing hubs etc and any recommendations on type of grease?

Some areas of this park are closed due to hazard reduction burn. This closure may be extended and any extension will be posted as soon as possible. Closed areas are:
Heath trail
Bare Creek trail (both ends, Mona Vale Rd and Cambourne Ave)
Frenchs Creek trail
Frenchs Creek track
Cambourne trail (both ends, Douglas St and Cambourne Ave)
Cascades trail (both ends, off Stone Parade and from Douglas St, Acron Oval)
Middle Harbour Creek track
Bungaroo track (entry to Middle Harbour Creek track)

No probs following the hazard reduction burns on the weekend.

Quarry Road Track Closure?
A couple of years ago, I posted an article in regards to the apparent imminent closure of the famed Quarry Road Track linking Hornsby with Dural due to the danger of the nearby rifle range.
Genrock & Roll
Pretty good race track overall, with the first half featuring some very nice single track, followed by a fire trail downhill plunge, a bit of traverse fire trail, then the unrelenting Snakes and Ladders sniggle climb. After a bit more sniggle, including a couple of multiple line option sections through some old quarries, there then seemed to be a lot of uphill fire trail slogging, broken up with a few water crossings.
