2015 Giant Reign 2-medium frame

I am selling my bike. It is only 6 months old but I have decided it is a little big for me. It is in new condition. It retails new for $3,500 but I will part with it for $2,800 ONO.

I have had the tyres converted to tubeless and added Shimano XT trail pedals as the bike did not come with pedals.I have also put on better grips.

This bike loves to go downhill fast ! The full spec can be found on the Giant website.

I am a lady rider and the bike has hardly been ridden.

This would make a great Christmas present. Give me a call and make an offer.

Time to Upgrade: The best "marathon" bike?

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Well, I know this is going to turn into a never-ending debate, but, heck, it gives people something to do with their time, and as a bonus, it may actually give me some useful information.

The question: What is the best bike currently available (or to be available within the next six months) to be ridden by a serious contender in a mountain bike marathon?

OMV Short Track Series Round 4

Below is a preview, click to read the full post
When:
Wednesday, 23 March, 2016 - 18:00

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Old Man's Valley
Meeting Point:

End of Quarry Road, Hornsby - Parking is well signposted, directing cars to park at the END of the road. If this is full, park in the Dural Street carpark.

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

"Well, we are awaiting confirmation on this. But it looks like the NorthConnex control of the Hornsby MTB trails has been delayed enough to allow us to host one more Short Track Summer Series.

We will be running them in tandem with the keepers of the spiritual origins of mtb racing in Northern Sydney - Manly Warringah CC. We each host one race per month, a fortnight apart. So this will mean about 6 or 7 delicious sweat pouring, gut wrenching, bike braking, leg burning and even vomit inducing pain sessions. Ah,,, not everyone's cup of tea but we love it!

Lost iphone 4s Old Mans Valley - Hornsby

Hey. My black iphone 4s fell out of my pocket while i was riding at Old Mans Valley on Sunday the 6th of December. I lost it between 6.30-7pm. I rode around looking for it until dark. Did anyone happen to come across it?

Thanks.

North Turramurra update for 06 Dec

Status:
Green/Open

A couple of creek crossings still damp. First time riding here. Those steep ramp climbs test the legs and heart rate. Otherwise dry.

Dry as... Boring as... fun little stop for 30 seconds or so on the way to and from some steep firetrail climbs, but lose interest quickly.
