Video: Nine days in the Rotorua Redwoods
Hi Guys
Here's my edit of the Redwoods from my trip to Rotorua in late October this year.
This was my 3rd trip to the Redwoods and for the first time I managed to ride every day, even tho a couple were cut a bit short due to a shoulder injury from a day 1 OTB that kept getting aggravated on the XC climbs. The solution: Avoid the XC trails and pedally exits - just descend.
Lane Cove National Park update for 22 Nov
Rode in from De Burghs bridge then up the Yanco Rd fire trail, then in from Gloucester Ave through to the top of Devlins and back to Browns Waterhole. Still a few bits of running water across the track, but otherwise all good.

Still a couple of damp spots and the heavy rain has roughed up the traffic lines, but otherwise all good.

AYUP Battery question
I have a half epic battery - some years old now and use it as a flasher - this morning stopped flashing but will light up constantly but only in high - assume the battery is cactus/on the way out?
Just want to check if someone else has had the same as the replacement is over $100

Terrey Hills update for 22 Nov
From the Jap school: Perimeter, Long and Cowan trails were in very good condition, although the usual wet spots were still wet.
Light misting drizzle made sandy spots a bit firmer, but there are still some deep sand drifts deposited by last weeks rain. Stick to the compacted - line I got squirrelly on a few occasions trying to plough through.
Very busy this morning - quite a few runners and large groups of riders.

Wildflower Garden update for 22 Nov
Wildflower Garden is in quite reasonable condition. Damp at the bottom of some gullies but otherwise good, and rideable. Light misty drizzle this morning held the sandy bits together well.

Bantry Bay update for 22 Nov
Serrata and Gahnia are all good. Possums 95% dry. Mistress is dry expect the very top but has been a bit damaged throughout with people riding it after the rain. Daisy good but the first left hand switchback is still wet and has got a bit chewed up.

Dry track. Loose rocks in sections may cause loss of traction. Hours of fun !
