Forks / Shocks

Hello

I have a Garry Fisher Hifi and have destroyed my forks / Shox so i am going to upgrade and was wondering what would be the best fork for me.

I do allot of XC (Manly Dam) and some DH (Thredbo), weigh around 96kg and ride fairly aggressive

I have been looking at the Foxshox F29 RLC 120mm, would these shox suite my riding or is there something better that you can suggest?

Cheers
Brent

When:
Saturday, 24 January, 2009 - 07:30

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Marramarra National Park
Meeting Point:

Bloodwood Road, Fiddletown heads up to the National Park. There's a sharp right bend by Marramarra Ridge Trail, with Coba Point Fire Trail shortly after (the proceeding sharp left). There's parking by either trail which are less than 1km apart, but the area by Coba Point Fire Trail is the go.

Who's up for another 'out of town' ride? Similar in style to Great Northern Road or Menai, there is something for everyone on this ride. Fast single trail, fire break and don't forget all the technical fun-ness. Rocks, tree roots, sand and sniggle. It will be a great day. Let's hope the weather behaves this time!!

The ride is about 30 minutes north of Hornsby, so it shouldn't kill your entire day. Plus, with the length of ride, you are sure to get a decent workout, as part of your 24hr routine!

Looking forward to seeing you there... come on, throw your hat in the ring!! Smiling

Well I went to Thredbo this Christmas with Bruce for a go at some real downhill runs. Turns out I have a lot to learn Smiling

I didn't have the best lead up to it with my stupid stack at Duck Holes of all places the week before! Leg still had the scabs on it and knee was still a bit stiff but I thought I'd give it a go anyway.

As promised, here is a fun "out of towner" ride that all should love. Looking for new trails? Try this!!

Having heard about all the fun that was to be had the last time, it is about time that I got in on the action. This ride should be great.

I don't know yet whether the ferry is the way to go, as I have not investigated that option yet. But a mid morning start time is preferable as it may take some time to travel to the ride.

Who's in??

** NOTE - time is changed again to 9:00 a.m. **
