Ingar trail elevation.

Hi guys.

Has anyone measured the climb from bedford creek to tablelands road on the ingar trail (elevation climbed). I rode up from glenbrook (oaks), up ingar, down andersons and down oaks, and was just wondering what the total climb would be, and how it compares to some of the 100km races.

thank you.

Yellowmundee - Sandwiches and Pop

When:
Friday, 2 January, 2009 - 12:00

The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

Ride Database Entry:
Yellomundee Regional Park
Meeting Point:

There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

Just an explore as I haven't been here before, so if anyone is up for a ride and knows the way all the better.

Pace will be nice and easy, bring sandwiches and pop. All welcome.

Team Toasted Sydney 24hr Trainig Ride

Calling team Toasted any ideas or interest in a team training ride before the big race.

I am doing plenty of solo training but it would be good if the team got together to maybe discuss the race and do some riding.

If you guys are intrested then where, when and for how long.

Sydney and Mont 24 hr

Gday Crew

Am keen to jump onboard a team for Sydney 24hr and Mont 24 hr events
Most of my riding buddies are either married with no leave passes, popping sprogs or away for these events
Am definitely not Lance Armstrong but am keen to put up my best laps and get into it all
So if you've had anyone pull out or injured whether it be teams or 4 5 or 6 anything to get onboard
Am in training for the Colville Connection 72km in March and Dirtworks 100k too
Can cover all necessary entry costs etc, any ideas would be appreciated

Cheers Paul

Happy new years

Girls on bikes (was Weather forecast for tomorrow's NY Day ride...)

New Year's Day riders:

Weather forecast for tomorrow afternoon's NY Day ride says:

"Thursday: Fine. Mostly sunny. Min: 18°C Max: 34°C Moderate to fresh northwest winds ahead of a late fresh to strong southerly change."

Could be a tad warm...if the southerly kicks in around 5 PM we should be OK, otherwise bring plenty of water, wear your lightest gear and dress accordingly: Eye-wink

Smiling

Upgrade Drive Train

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade my drivetrain components on my Cannondale F7 disc until I can purchase a good dual suspension.

I would love to go to LBS and say upgrade this however to budget constraints I was going to order from CRC.

I'm looking at purchasing:
Shimano XT Cassette 9 Speed M770
Shimano XT Rear Derailleur M751
Shimano HG93 Chain 9 Speed
Shimano XT Front Derailleur Conventional M771

This bike currently has FC-M311 cranks square taper. I was reading some Shimano docs and it seemed to state that these
