Races for kids?
Hey guys
Are their any clubs out there who run races for kids ?
I need to find some races for my 9yo to do. HE done the 20km race at the Husky100 at the weekend and was going really well in the lead group until the sign vandal got him seriously off course and had to wait for mum to catch up....
Finding the trails at Ourimbah
How hard is it to find the trails at Ourimbah by myself? I've never been out there but plan on going this weekend and was wondering how much fun one can have without actually knowing the trails. And what are the downhill tracks like, being more of a more fun down that up guy?
Bantry Bay update for 03 Mar
rode both serratta and ghania late this afternoon,were both excellent,no standing water on either.the missus unfortunately had a nasty OTB off one of the steep rolls at ghania but will live to ride another day...

Rain around manly
Anyone been out for a ride today?Im heading northside and just wondering how wet its been and if anything ie serratta or dam is ridable after yest efforts.We didnt get all that much rain over the eastern suburbs.just wondering if its worth throwing the bike in the car,cheers

I'm not sure exactly why I thought it was a good idea to enter this race as I've had pretty bad luck with it in the past. But a whole bunch of friends were going down camping at Jervis Bay so I thought why not.
We stayed at the beautiful Booderee NP and I had a fairly restful night. Woke up, stumbled around in the dark getting ready and off to the new event centre. Decided to line up in the middle of the pack this time as I was feeling frisky.
Manly Dam update for 01 Mar
I'm pretty sure most would call the dam red for the next few days. There were rivers of mud within minutes this afternoon when I was caught in the deluge.
The single tracks were all converted into rivers, the creek was gushing and there was a lot of standing water.

Ourimbah State Forest update for 28 Feb
Rode late yesterday afternoon and it was a bit slippery through Forbidden Forest and the upper end of Long Meadows. Also there was a large tree down across the A line at the Dipper.

Garmin gps file editor
I went for a ride this morning and about 10km in, the garmin turned off. I pulled over, restarted it and carried on. When I got home the first part of the ride isn't recognized by the either the garmin or the the conputer. (It's a Garmin 810 so doesn't carry on from the same ride like the 500, it starts a new ride.) The rest of the ride uploads fine to Garmin Connect but won't sync with Strava. I've tried manually export both the gps and tcx files and uploading to Strava but it says there is a problem.
Can anyone recommend a good gps editor that may be able to sort the files out?
Lane Cove National Park update for 27 Feb
There were a few mud puddles between Brown's waterhole and Day Rd tonight, but it wasn't too bad. No water running along the trail. About two inches of water flowing over some of the creek crossings.
