Beginner XC ride - Duckholes/Centre - all welcome
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Hello all budding new riders.
Some newer participants to the sport have recently asked for some practice in getting out there and riding some of our local trails. So if you are new to mtb riding and would like to come along, please update your 'star' to show your participation.
Trail selection was something fairly easy but not boring. I figure Duckholes/Centre a good ride and far more interesting than doing the Long Trail.
Lane Cove National Park update for 21 Oct
De Burgh's bridge to Yanco Rd fire trail is fine. The big whipper snipper has been used on the descent off Ryde Rd, so no more getting whipped in the face by low foliage.
Gloucester Ave through to Browns Waterhole and the top of Devlins is all good. A few bits of trees down on the track, but no real impediments.

Blackbutt Reserve update for 21 Oct
Nearly all dry. A couple of leaky pipe spots. Smooth traffic line most of the way down from Vale St.

excellent, dry and fast and there is a whole section that we did that ive never ridden before that reminded me of what menai used to be like.

I made this for personal use because I was tired of checking for trails to only find out they are well over an hour away. After making it I figured someone else might find it useful. This has the name, nobmob link, and meeting point from the trails in the northern beaches, blue mountains, and sydney north, south, and west. Some trails are not listed because they lack a meeting point or something else.
