Duck Hole/Terrey Hills Trail update for 27 Oct
Rode up from McCarrs Ck, so not a good guide on how it's working in the other direction. Seemed pretty dry and loose so be careful if you're hitting up the water bars.

The upper sniggle is getting dry and dusty and well worn. Not going to venture down to the lower track until I hear that it's been cleared. Which may be a while....

Tapering for the fling 110k
I have never quite got the taper right for the 110km fling. To little and my legs felt slow and heavy, too much ..oh the hurt from the start. Any suggestions on what to do weekend before and the week leading up??
How often do you crash, stack, OTB, etc.. ?
So I stacked it again this morning, twice this month, this time got more than just bruises 
That's 2 stacks in 10 rides. Both stacks happened at the 2nd lap around Manly Dam, tired, less concentration is my reasoning behind it.
Just wondering how often do others crash ?
Where to find 10mm thru bolt?
I have managed to strip the thread on the QR end of my current 10 x 135mm thru bolt axle.
A search of the www has uncovered not very many replacements. I don't want to spend $70 on the DT Swiss one.
Can I just buy a 10mm bolt from bunnings?
I don't specifically need a QR, hex bolt is fine with me.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Terry hills hazard reduction burn - trail status wanted

Any Terry Hills locals know if Perim and Long will be open for the weekend after the hazard reductions burns? The RFS website still lists it as a going concern and the track status is red on this site.
