Wildflower Garden update for 21 Nov
Rode through from the Gardens to Forest Way on Sunday arvo. All good. A few dead branches coming down as the wind picked up, so a little care required.

First ride back = wobbly
First ride after breaking the collarbone. Was just a short ride mainly on the footpath from home to the gym to do some leg work and try to keep the core strength up while off the bike. But I couldn't help myself, and took a couple of little bush trail short cuts.

Bottlebutt 100
With a course designed by Jason English this was always going to be a tough race. I entered when it was part of the CycleNation series and my brother was planning on coming down from Queensland so when it got rescheduled we decided to still do the race.
With the Fling last week I pulled up reasonably well and felt really good on Monday's recovery ride. The 60mm of rain two days before the race had me changing to new pads and applying the wet lube.

On the dale - New PB
Since I'm using the Dale for next weekend's 8 1/4 hour at Awaba I thought I'd better show it some love. Felt a bit weird to start with but soon got in the groove. Took 2 minutes 26 seconds of my best time so I'm happy with that.
Started at Bayview where its been a nice temp all day an just around the corner it was like riding into an oven. The temp gauge just shot up.
Lap 2

National MTB Series Event 1
Blair and King take out first round on National MTB Series XC.
Jenny Fay takes third in the women elite. Well done Jenny !!

For Sale: Free to good home courtesy of CRC
CRC stuffed up and instead of sending me carbon handle bars they sent me some nice looking mudguards, for a tourer or cyclocross. Couldn't find the item on CRC so have a look at the Wiggle link. They in black.

Storing my bike by hanging from a hook - is it OK?
Folks,
I'm looking for some advice on bike storage. I've moved into a new house, with a good sized shed. The shed has roof beams exposed, so I've suspended my dualie by a hook attached to one of the beams. The hook loops under the rear wheel - ie the rear wheel takes all the weight (roughly 13kg)
Let me know if I'm a genius, or am committing a mortal sin...
Thanks.

Terrey Hills update for 19 Nov
Rode perimeter and long this morning, few small puddles but nothing major. Sand is a bit soft in places
