Wet, wet, wet. Sustained rainfall over the weekend will take a while to drain and dry out.

Did a few laps this morning. Trails are in awesome shape. Just enough rain last night to make it nice and tacky with out being wet.

Probably 3 puddles on the whole loop.

Get in while its awesome.

Rode Wednesday arvo and the light rain on Tuesday improved conditions, finally an end to the dust and loose conditions, much grippier, near perfect now. Hopefully Wednesday nights rain hasn't pushed it over to Amber...

Fox fork seals questions

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Hey

I about to change the oil, wipers and seals on my fox 32 forks and just wanted to ask if anyone had a trick or ideas for a home made tool to help seat the seals. This will be my second time doing the seals and I had a bit of trouble seating the new ones the first time. I know that fox makes a seating tool but am not interested in buying it as only do the seals a few times a year so not really worth the money.

Thanks Chris

Advice needed

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

My 2009 Gaint Trance x1 frame has corrosion under paint on the head tube, the rest of the frame is in good condition. Would this still be under warranty if not what would be the best way to fix it
all comments appreciated

Plans for Glenrock 2014??

NB: Originally posted elsewhere on the Global Riders Network and appears via syndication.

Apart from the great work done on Shaft, 2013 has been a bit dismal for Glenrock...with the 'closure' of the southern trails I expected NPWS to be able to apply more resources to 'maintaining and improving the northern trails'. Lately all I have seen is an increase in illegal trail modification, wet weather damage, motorbikes, erosion and and a bag of rubbish at the picnic table that has been there for months...
Is there any positive news for 2014? Every time I ride Awaba it shits me how good Glenrock could be...
