Work is currently in progress adjacent to Wakehurst Parkway and there will be times in the next few weeks when sections of track will be closed. Riders are asked to abide by any barriers and signs in these locations and safely go around them.

Advice will be updated on the Warringah Council website as well as on Warringah Council's Facebook and Twitter pages. Alternatively, people can subscribe to [email protected]

So .. how does one go around the barriers? I'm assuming they don't mean ignore the barriers and ride on the closed sections. So we need to find a way around via a paved road? I guess that's feasible, depending on exactly which sections are closed .... I can't picture them based upon road names, lol.

Yeah maybe you're right Rob. I just saw green when I read:

The Manly Dam mountain bike track is open.

I rode it in the last hour becasue the site said green and the council listed it as open in the Mainly Daily today.

It's not red but is very very orange. Please if you ride make sure you take the a-lines through the puddles... if you're not prepared to clean your bike / wear out your drive train then consider it red!
