The Caltex service centre on the Purfleet exit to Taree has plenty of food facilities and toilets. This is only 4km's from the trail head.

There are no toilet facilities or water at the trail head so make sure you have sufficient water and a method to carry it - in summer it does get very hot and humid in the forest so make sure you look after yourself.
