The Oaks update for 29 Aug

Tree still down just west of the Oaks gate. Single track is open but there are still some obstructions that haven't been cleared. One blocks the track but has a new path growing around the left side. Reasonable line of sight before getting to it to allow you to slow down.

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

Thanks Rudders. NPWS are now aware of the situation with the trees and they will get someone there soon. They've been busy with hazard reduction burns.

Still the same today.

A few trees down but the trail conditions otherwise are great!
Big tree down across the firetrail a few hundred metres before the Oaks gate....so watch out for that last blast!
Single track seemed OK, but there was still a lot of debris moved off to the sides, so be careful
