Yellomundee Lantana Lash
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
Yellomundee April Lantana Lash!
Have you ever been spiked when riding past some Lantana at Yellomundee Regional Park? Well here’s a chance to extract some revenge!
NPWS in conjunction with WSMTB and BMORC are holding the inaugural Lantana Lash for MTB riders. We aim to clear a significant area close to the MTB tracks, and help stop the further spread of Lantana in the Park. Details are:
• When: Saturday 14 April, 2012, from 8am to about midday (but anytime you have free would be greatly appreciated).
Appin night ride this Wednesday night anyone?
North end of Burke St, Appin. There's a small parking area here at the trail head.
Note that the map shows Market Street connecting Appin Rd to this location but that is actually a firetrail and will not work for drivers who should take King St (next block South) and enter from there.
Its been far too long since I rode Appin (actually 2 long days LOL).
Anyone fancy a night ride Wednesday evening?.
Im coming out from Earlwood so will be there 7.30pm.
Please confirm by 5pm here or SMS 0403 922 942
cheers
Tom

Hi all - we're hoping that the weather will be OK for this Sunday, 1 April and that we will finally be able to get a race in at Yellomundee.
All welcome! Rego from 8am to 8.50 (so we can start U13s at 9am). Seniors race at 9.30am.
Weather updates will be posted on www.wsmtb.com or on the WSMTB Facebook page.
See you there.

Up, and up again, then back, starting at Glenbrook
Glenbrook station car park.
With a chance the sun will continue to shine Sunday, it's high time to up the training again! And this will be a great way to do it.
From Glenbrook up The Oaks, Ingars and then back via Andersons. This is an absolutely AWESOME set of trails, that make for a fantastic day's riding.
Normally, this route pretty much has everything, but missing this time will be any singletrack; I'll be giving the (short!) singletrack at the tail end of the Oaks a rest after all the recent rain!.
All up, it's a tad over 100k, which I aiming to do in under seven hours. Hmmm ...
