Taree 1

Unfortunately it was too wet and slippery for me to risk riding it solo.

Sitting in the tree behind my tent in the Port Mac camping ground!
Rare to see one in the wild (if you class the middle of town the 'wild'), and especially rare seeing one awake.

This one was sitting on the lowest branch just looking around for about 20 minutes, then climbed down and walked over to the next tree and tried to climb up. Unfortunately he/she encountered some loose bark about 2m up and fell from the tree and flat on its back Sad

Port Macquarie HVMBR tracks

There were plenty of jumps and rollovers like this, including a horizontal hollowed out tree trunk to ride along, pallet ramps, platform bridges over swamp areas, bermed corners etc.

Reverse angle of "Le ramp" or I think it was also called "Spine board" or something similar.
Great fun, and would make some fun viewing for spectators on race day Smiling

I never quite got the lead up to it right so was never hitting it that fast, but with practice I'd say some people would come flying around this corner!

Bendable Bike Anyone?

No... it's serious:

For a commuter the concept is probably sound. I mean, keeping the frame under load might even make it stiffer - so long as the ratchet system is up to the job. Maybe?

Nth Coast holiday

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Well I finally got away on holidays! It took a few days to unwind and get into holiday mode but once I did it was nice and relaxing with some fun riding.
Unfortunately the weather before and at the start was not the best, resulting in some very wet tracks and severely limiting my riding options Sad

The plan was to head up the coast from Sydney, stopping at selected riding spots along the way, making my way as far as about Coffs Harbour.
