Or more precisely, where did the nick name "scummers" come from? I've been looking all over the net, and even asked some roadies... put me out of my misery

I haven't got much info on it but believe it is similar to their guided walk thingies only on bikes.

Rides in Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest area ???
I am going up to Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest for a long weekend and wanthed to find out if anyone knows of any trails in the area?
Stitch held me back.....
I can't believe I suffered my first stitch bike riding. I was thinking I might cramp but the stitch got me first in the last 500 meters. Still I managed a 40.30 which I was please with.
Trail design and construction 101 - Hornsby
I have a meeting coming up with the guy at Hornsby Council appointed to drive the MTB options in the area. The purpose is to discuss trail planning and building ideas. I am not special (well, special in other areas) and have no idea where to start. Hornsby Council seem to be very proactive in investigating this and are in a consultative mode. I wish to contribute as best I can and at the moment lack experience and knowledge. Can some people give me some practical advice on how a council's intentions translate to actual designing and building a XC track?

I'm after a large 03-05 Bullit (Old style not the current one). I'm not overly concerned about what is attached to the frame as long as it's straight with no dings/cracks and the stock 5th Element shock is in good working order. A frame with nothing attached is also appealing as I plan to build it up anyway.
Please let me know if you know anyone wanting to part with one.
