You know you're addicted when...

... you're walking round the shops with the GF and notice the display tables & cases are all different heights and cramped together without much room between them. You begin to ponder how hard the display would be to ride through/around/over.

Best way to hang a bike up?

I'm a newbie. What's the best way to store my bike in the garage? Horizontal or vertical. I'm thinking of hanging it vertically from either the front or rear wheel using the rim to take the weight using a single bracket. However, I'm concerned oil may leak from the shocks on the front and also the brake calipers. Is this an okay method for storing?

Just moved to Sydney, i am looking for a good bike shop in the Lindfield area (not one that tries to sell you a new bike each time you walk in) any suggestions?

Lefty Service

As is my way of recording small maintenance jobs...

The Rush's Lefty got a service this week and it got two new bearings in the headset.

The bearings gone at only 13 months old are a bit of a disappointment, but then again the summer's rain will not have helped.

Lefty was due for a service anyhow, but the damping wasn't feeling quiet right last few rides and I noticed some oil on the air valve. Turns out a seal inside had leaked allowing damping oil to get into the bottom air chamber, no wonder the feeling was off! One seal in a year's riding isn't such a bad outcome.

Blackbetty's dad and I went to check out these trails that we found behind tuggerah westfield. Lets just say I had a bit of a shocker. Fell off multiple times and feel really battered and bruised. THe one that sent me home was when it felt like I nearly hyper extended my elbow. The pain that I'm in now gives me a whole new and ridiculously high level of respect for GAZZA!

2003 Kona Dawg For Sale Soon

I am about to put my 2003 Kona Dawg up for Sale. Its been ridden most weekends for the last 2 years. Can anyone tell me what its worth? Anyone interested? Good entry level dually. Original value approx $2100.
