Good fun last year, time to do it again. Angry Doctor should be a nice warm-up for this!
First 25km's was excellent single track, 100km riders dried it out real nice for those that followed.

This might be the only chance we get to ride here this year, the track in on private property and other users get priority. It's a great fun little track and the start for non-elite types is at a very reasonable time so plenty of time to sleep in or squeeze in an early ride up the Oaks to warm up. The Oaks At Night.
I believe the Oaks is a lot of fun to do at night and I imagine the run from the helipad down to the gate followed by that awesome single track would be a blast in the dark.
Has anyone done this ride at night I suspect mr groover has whats it like.
I would like to do this ride some time in the next month or so its a bit of a hike for the mid week outing so I am really thinking about a Friday or Saturday night or Wednesday if enough intrest but probably not.

This will be an easy hit out to turn the legs over following the weekend riding, all are welcome, but don't expect a fast pace.
Day 1 Canberra June 2008
So the weekend begins and not too soon, as the thought of last years trip is still lingering in the back of my mind…..could it be as good as last year….
We head out on the road at about 7ish and the traffic is non existent which is great, as Liam and I drift down the dual carriageway our attention is drawn towards the weather….its a nice clear day amongst patches of fog along the way.
