Ride Day 4 at Rotorua
After a rest day yesterday where we just pootled around town, we caught the shuttle up to ride Corners back down the mountain again.
The second time around it seemed like it flowed much better and I was picking the lines more cleanly, but I was just as buggered by the time I got to the bottom. The quads and glutes were not burning so much but the hands were starting to let me know they being worked hard keeping me connected to the bars.

Ourimbah State Forest update for 07 Dec
Did a few laps of the xc circuit this morning. The rain has made conditions perfect, very little sand, no standing water and grip by the bucket load.
Possibly the best trail in Sydney!

On today's menu was a couple of laps of The Dipper, Pig Track, Red Tank Rd, Bunny Jugs 1 and 2 (more fun and less scary second time around), then took the shuttle up to the top.
Bantry Bay update for 05 Dec
Very nice,did a few laps around 1pm,saw a wallaby and a lyrebird.Not as techy as i expected given some of the comments but well done to the builders

Graded fire trail helps
Feel like a bit of a fraud. The recent grading of the Fire trail defn saves a minute or so. Also, the replacement of the timber ladder with sandstone has made the rock garden before the trig trail easier to get up so doing a fast lap without unclipping is probably as easy as it ever will be right now.
Manly Dam update for 05 Dec
Surprisingly very dry and in great condition before this evening's storm. I'd rate it green but it's bucketing down atm so maybe that will have an impact.
A few minor puddles on the s bends just after Seaforth Bowlo. Also, a few minor puddles between the Golf Course Rock lookout up to the rock garden before the Trig Track. Nothing major - your tyres will get wet but no damage to the track IMO.
If the storm tonight is brief then I'd say it will be great for the weekend.
The Fire Trail is still very smooth.

Current condition of Perimetre and Long tracks?
Does anyone know of the current condition of Perimetre and Long tracks? Are they too wet already?
