Lane Cove National Park update for 29 Sep
Butchered!

Council have absolutely butchered the trail and surrounding flora from the Penno Park intersection through to the Day St Epping entrance. The trail is now 10m wide in most places with trees/shrub decimated and litter all over the firetrail Sad Unclear if related to the recent works or a scheduled clearing for fire truck access but its unrecognisable!
Be careful when riding this section - it will eat derailleurs!

Old Ghost Road - riders wanted!
Looking for a few additional riding mates (3) for a 1 week supported tour of some of the best single in the South Island. Highlight would be riding the entire length of the Old Ghost Rd - 82kms of sweet single track. Lots more single track including St James, Blue Spur, Craigieburn, Hanmer Springs (hot springs) this would be a 1 week trip with start/finish in Christchurch. Approx costs are ~$2000 for the fully supported tour + airfare to NZ + walking around money.

Red Hill update for 26 Sep
While your typical wet and gritty conditions are present. Much of the single trail up the top has been closed down. Threatened Species. For those who like strava names, kaboofs corners., Reverse corners K and CC to junction.

North Turramurra update for 26 Sep
Rode through from St Ives via the Darri Track, Glengarry Fire Trail, the Murrua loop, North Turra sniggle and Lovers Jump Track. Darri is a bit neglected, Glengarry is pretty wet at the moment, Murrua is fine, North Turra sniggle needs a bit of a trim, Lovers Jump is fine.

Welby MTB Track update for 25 Sep
First time here today and what a great track it is. You can either do the 11 or 7km route, plenty of natural features have been incorporated into the track making it very interesting to ride.
