Mugga Hill update for 20 May
In town visiting family and thought I'd check out the new track. The guys have done a great job! The surface is in great condition and there are plenty of tight turns and undulating terrain to keep you on your toes.

Was awsome tday ! rode race & harrops loops ,new downhill section still needs bedding in & has a small mud bog half way down but all good .Didnt like the new downhill section at first but it felt a bit better with every lap .

Lane Cove National Park update for 20 May
Main trail from Gloucester Ave through to Devlins Ck track is now pretty good, with only a few damp bits. Some more erosion around the new causeway on Devlins, and a big tree down just upstream from the Day Rd track junction. Didn't go past there. A couple of real smelly sections on Devlins, must be some sewer pipe leaks...

Blackbutt Reserve update for 20 May
Still a couple of damp spots, but also now a few sandy bits. Traffic line starting to form again, but it's mainly walkers (with dogs), so keep an eye out.

For Sale: Allen 102S Premium trunk-mounted, 2-bike carrier
I bought this at Cellbikes, it is brand new, never been used as it doesn't fit my car (my car has a spoiler, so the weight of the carrier with a bike would damage it).

Terrey Hills update for 20 May
Perimeter & Long trails (via Nerang) - good to go. One easily avoided bog - some new ruts to keep an eye out for but best I have seen it for a while

A blast through Galston Gorge

The usual, a blast up and down, early Sunday morning. It'll have been newly graded as of then so all the more reason to hit the track!

Mostly dry, some bits pretty sandy, couple of big puddles on the firetrails - definately worth a rde before any rain comes our way.

Port Macquaire Mountain Festival CANCELLED
Black Heart events cancels another event. Heard the reason is more lame, than when they cancelled the Bottlebutt the first time. This was a 2 day big event, weathers good, how can it just not happen. Poor attendance?, someone doesn't make money?. Even the council was behind this one.
