Saturday AM Terrey Hills Ride: Perimeter/Long Trail

Starting from the Roundabout near the Japanese School (End of Echunga Rd, turning off from Booralie Rd), Terrey Hills / Duffy's Forest.
Join us for a medium paced ride on Saturday morning. Starting at 8:30 AM at the Roundabout near the Japanese School, Echunga Rd, Terrey Hills.
Great post ride coffee & cakes at the new cafe at TH shops.

Camp Wingello

4Km SW of Wingello village on Caoura Rd there's a small base camp within the forest - seems as good a place as any.
Heading down to Wingello for the weekend in preparation for a couple of upcoming rides. Going to make a weekend out of and bring the tent for a spot of camping.
Planning on riding both days, the pace won't be super-fast.
Feel free to come along for either or both days.
Riding on Day 2 will start a little earlier. (Probably 8am'ish)
I will also be bringing my GF as she is keen to ride some of the other trails around the place, so consider this a WAG friendly weekend of riding out of the city.
Stromlo World Championships + Riding

The World Champs are on and I'll be there to see the action.

It's on all week, but I'll be there for the weekend, expecting to go down on Friday afternoon back Sunday evenng after the presentations.
Will take the bike and do a couple of rides too, although a bit early to confirm exactly where, but count on it being around the course where possible. Also a chance to ride some of the circuit that'll be used for the Scott 24. There's a ride posted already out at Majura on Saturday morning by Jeeten [ http://nobmob.com/node/9937 ].

By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge.
Join me on one of my rare Saturdays off for a jaunt around the Menai trails. We'll ride a loop that is favoured by my good self and is certainly within the scope of most riders.
This is a relaxed paced ride and there will be ample time to practice tricky sections, repeat fun bits and, of course, gas bag.
Even though this as an xc type ride, the wearing of armour is encouraged. Other clothing styles are left up to the individual.

After weeks of long training rides I think I deserve a weekend off.
Have no plans as for where to go, just planning on putting the pads on, riding around and having fun.
If you haven't ridden Menai before, be warned it can be tricky in places and a novice rider would probably not enjoy this ride. Having said that you can walk sections if you wish and there's no need to worry about the pace. Like I said this is a rest from training for me so it's going to be slow.

Appin - Cheeky couple of laps

North end of Burke St, Appin. There's a small parking area here at the trail head.
Note that the map shows Market Street connecting Appin Rd to this location but that is actually a firetrail and will not work for drivers who should take King St (next block South) and enter from there.
Anyone care to join me for a few laps of Appin, I'll be there. Happy to ride on my jack jones but always good to have company. It'll be a social ride but at a reasonable pace with a break between laps.
I'm coming from the Inner West so 8.30am is really the earliest I care for on a Saturday.

Sparrow Hill cruise

Coming from Sydney, drive into Queenbeyan, turn left at the roundabout where Red Rooster is and stay on this road for about 11km. Park on the side of the road where the gate is. For better directions try this link CORC: Events: Race Venues.
Have to be in Canberra tomorrow morning and going to have a cruise around Sparrow Hill in the arvo, be great if someone joins in.
