Pronghorn Who?
Wow... is this not the weirdest shock position:
From http://www.pronghornracing.dk/index.php?page=sho...
Allegidly (from thier tech page):
This top mounted shock makes for a more rigid rear triangle.
Recommended rotors (and pads) for Juicy brakes
I'm in the market for some new rotors for two bikes, one with Juicy 3.5s and one with Juicy Ultimates. I've spent some time on the internet and I am struggling to find good information regarding recommended rotors. I think I am currently running G2 rotors which I have not been that impressed with - they seemed to warp fairly early on in their life and despite efforts to straighten them out I have been unsuccessful to get them to stay straight.
Doing Duel
Hi everyone, thanks for a great ride today. I went to the local shop today and they were selling a merida one twenty tfs 700 for an awesome deal brand new. Instead of my buying a new shock im considering taking the leap and buying a dualy. I also rode a specialized fsr xc which was set up for my weight and now im hooked!!!! Much better then a hardtail.
My question is whats everyone opinion on the merida?
Btw it has some really good kit, like a preitty much full xt drivetrain, suntour epicon shock? 120mm all round suspension.
Thanks
Three x One
Im sick of deralieurs and all the associated dramas. Can i run a single speed with three front rings, just to be different, i've seen 3 x 9 and 3 x 10 but has anyone tried 3 x 1 ?? apart from having to pedal harder what would i need, perhaps a tensioner to the rear gear. What do ya reckon guys ?

Lefty Hub with QR
Something new that has been developed. Good if you have a lefty and need to remove your wheel for transport.
Front Derailleur Problem
I recently bought a new frame for my girlfriend which meant the front derailleur from her old bike didnt fit on the new frame. I got another FD from a friend that fitted the frame. It is a shimano deore (dual pull). I have connected the cable from the top of the FD and adjusted it, but it is INCREDABLY hard to shift from the smaller to a bigger chain ring. The shifters are SRAM X7 and when they were on her previous frame with a Sram X7 FD they worked fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve my problem?
Shifter Cables
Hey All,
I need to invest in some decent shifter cables. I have successfully destroyed an alligator "bullet proof" set, followed by an XTR set.
I run full length housing, but i find that the housing usually splits through the end caps. The housing fray at the ends.
What can you recommend for me?
PS- don't want to break the bank (Nokon is out of my price range)
Gore Ride On?
Jagwire?
Avid Flak jacket? got bad reviews on MTBR
cheers
What is my bike worth?
I am going to sell a bike to my mate and wondered if you guys could help me work out what is a fair price for it. I don't want to rip him off or short change myself and since this was my first mountain bike I am a bit too attached to be objective.
