It's on again!!!

Due to the good turnout last Wednesday and since someone else won't post this ride. I have had to put this one on the website. All the usual details apply:
- It's going to be a bit cold at 10C.
- We will probably do the same track as we did last time - Perimeter, Long Trail (beer) and then Neverfail gully. Its about 27kms and anyway whats the story with these rides getting longer and the pace getting faster? beats me Smiling
- Meet at 7pm at the carpark.

Week 1.3 30th May 2007

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

Wow, what a difference 4 days can make. Long, hard (well by my standards anyway) ride last night and felt good for about the first 80%. By the end my thighs were absolutely wasted but compared to the way they felt Saturday, well there was no comparison. Don't know what to put it down to, haven't spent the time on the trainer this week that I did last week, have started having the protein drinks to help with muscle recovery / growth, maybe I'm seeing the beneficial signs of this journey already, or maybe it was just the different bike.
