Old Man's Valley update for 10 May

Status:

Outstanding. First time and loved every second. Well worth the trip.
I would like to send a email to the right person on the council to express my thoughts and thanks for building a wonderful mtb facility. Any help with the right email address would be appreciative.
Cheers Ben

Tubeless tyre pressure

Hi folks,
I switched to running tubeless about a year ago and love not getting pinch flats anymore but I seem to have to add air more regularly than when I was running tubes to keep the pressure I want. (By the way my tyres don't go completely flat, they just don't have the pressure I want)

I was just wondering if this is the norm? How often does everyone else add air to their tyres?

Cheers

Which would you choose ?

Hi people, looking at purchasing a second hand 29" dually (they need a good home). At the moment I have a choice between;
1 x Giant Anthem 2011 model
1 x Specialised Epic Comp Carbon 2012 model
Currently riding an Orbea 26' Hardtail. Which I find is great, so do I need a dually ? Anyway, I digress.
Any input/knowledge would be appreciated.
Thank's

I went into this race having no idea what time i was going to do as i wasn't here for it last year and had a shocker (for no apparent reason) the year before.
I knew i was fitter than previous years but having had a throat virus for about 4 weeks in the lead up i knew my training hadn't gone exactly to plan.
I arrived just before dark on Friday and set up camp with my riding Buddies from Manly.

There is no shame in walking

Below is a preview, click to read the full post

… and I’m glad I did cause it was difficult to even walk it with my jelly legs at 68km - I’m sure I would have fallen in if I had of ridden it.

Proud to have completed my first 100km race (in fact my first 100km ride….) without falling off. Was aiming for around the 6 hour mark based on previous 50km efforts and achieved that goal!! Very stiff and sore that evening and the following day but recovered quite quickly on Monday to start planning the next big race!
