Hi Folks,
Anyone got a spare 26 inch rear wheel they are looking to offload with a QR?
Where to ride this w/e
I know Gahnia will be dry but it's not really my thing (nothing against the trail). Anyone ridden the Dam or Possums in the last day or so - is it dry? Any other recommendations for dry trails this weekend around the beaches?

Choosing Medium or Long cage derailer for cannondale scalpel
I have destroyed my XTR rear derailleur on 2012 Cannondale Scalpel and I don't know if I need to replace with XTR medium cage or long cage. The re cog is 11-36 and two ring at the front. Help!!

Excellent did a few hours there this morning,nice and tacky with only abit of water in some of the creek crossings

Lane Cove National Park update for 10 Feb
Pretty dry between Brown's Waterhole and Day Rd. Just a few mud puddles in the usual places and a little water in one of the creek crossings.
It's getting a bit overgrown at the Day Rd end. I find myself weaving all over the trail to avoid low hanging bushes.

Did some skids.....
I'll keep this brief, because it was a pretty uneventful race.
Jeez, it was a hot and hard day. the track was brutal - loads of climbing, rocks with sharp edges, and then jarring descents.
I've been working on some specific tech skills over the summer because I am sick of going to Stromlo (and other places really) and getting beaten due to a lack of tech ability or just being too cautious. alweays on the 'downs'. Sure local knowledge helps, but until I allowed myself to get past that (they will always know it better than me - use that to my advantage) I was never gonna compete.
