Beat Invisible Glaucoma!
Glaucoma affects more than 300,000 Australians, and is the world's leading cause of irreversible blindness.
Come out for a ride and brekky at OMV to support Glaucoma Australia, and Beat Invisible Glaucoma.
Bring the whole family! We'll be there from 7-11am with the BBQ going, so come for a ride, have a snag and support a great cause.
A big thanks to SNORC and Primo Small Goods / Joe's Meat Market for their support.

Condition of cascades??
Just wondering who (if anyone) is responsible for keeping cascades under control. Ive noticed its looking very rough the last few weeks especially around the heath single track loop. I find my bars are a lot wider even though they haven't changed in the last few years :S I understand its single track but there are a lot of sturdy branches poking out.
I would be very happy to assist in a bit of maintenance but just wondering if theres a specific channel i should go through.
Cheers,
Jono.

Loving Bantry Bay Trails
Just want to put it out there that I'm loving the new Bantry Bay trails.
Over the weekend I did 45K's through Bantry Bay & Manly Dam. The Bantry Bay trails are most certainly not firetrail which in my mind is a very good thing. I consider my self a reasonable technical rider and find the new trails, particularly Gahnia, to be challenging, again a very good thing.
The trails will bed in and we'll all get used to the lines over time. I know I will become fitter and a more proficient rider simply by adding this trails into the mix every couple fo weeks,

Warranty experience with the big S
Let me share my recent warranty experience with the big red S.
So in December I noticed a mark on my frame around the bottom bracket area that looks rather suspicious, it looks like a deep scratch so I took it to the shop where I got it from to have it looked at. At the same time I sprained my ankle during a ride and I was told to rest it for 6 weeks. The mechanic was certain that the mark was indeed a small crack on the frame, and that he was going to take some pictures and show it to the big S.

The Tristanian Elite MTB Campaign Journey - Post 1
Thought I'd announce here as I know the recent blog entries aren't obvious (where I think it's more appropriate) that I've taken the opportunity, as promised, to share some of my insight in my first "blog" commentating on my current position and how I've gotten there in recent months. Please comment on it so I know if it's interesting/helpful/useless etc so I know if you'd like me to write more
