Tees Ordering Spreadsheet
OK, the forum clearly wasn't going to work, use this sheet instead:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pUcxuWiLA...
This is full public access... please play nice!
PM me if you want something filled in on there and can't for some reason.
Update: I've added columns for style choices (long sleeve, etc.) and also one for back print. It occurs to me that some people might not care about having something printed on the back, and it's approx. $4 cheaper not to have that.
Menai trail fairies
A guy just posted a comment about menai over at fark... rotorburn.com
Apparently there is a few moto riders who are getting pissed off at the amount of trail modification and rubbish being left around by treadly users and are voicing their disgust on one of their forums .
Now in an ideal world every on would be able to live and play together, and since the original poster is talking about a hill climb maybe the mods were something needed to arrest an erosion problem... I don't know.
Anyway if anyone knows the trail fairies it might be wise to point them towards

Is anyone interested in doing Dirt Works, though didn't register in time? I have registered for the 100kms for Dirt Works and can't do it now. So if you are interested, give me a call on 0429 986 303, or email me at [email protected].
Thanks,
Charlie.
"Cycling infrastructure needs work"
Hi all,
This popped up on my uni site- regarding cycling infrastructure etc...
http://www.usyd.edu.au/news/84.html?newscategory...
And the Medical Journal of Australia editorial they are referring to...
http://www.mja.com.au/public/issues/190_07_06040...
And the rather disturbing article that brought it all about...
http://www.mja.com.au/public/issues/190_07_06040...
Lots of great references in there for people to use when advocating for trail infrastucture - the Medical Journal of Australia can't be wrong...
cheers,
AYUP Lights | Looking for advice
Hey guys
Looking for a bit of advice here.
I'm after buying a set of quality lights for both night riding and commuting. Has anyone experience with Ayups? I hear they are good, but before I pull out 400 of my hard earned, I was hoping to pick your brains and if you can offer any user advice.
Would you reccomend them?
Would you buy more?
What are the 3h/6h batteries like?
Is there a 'flash mode'?
x2 pairs Handle bar/helmet versus x1 pair on handle bars - pros/cons?
Are there better lights out there? Who makes them?
Anything else I need to know?
Thanks
Phil
great north road grading
does anyone have any idea as to whats happening to the great north road? I rode there yesterday and found the top of shepards gully smoothed out as well as the first 4 kms of the old great north road totaly flattend and sandy firetrail!! A couple of the nice rocky climbs and roll downs have gone. i thought this was a historic area and would be left as is with ses and fire access via western comission track.Enjoy this years dirtworks because next year it could well be 100k of fire trail cruising!!

Someone looks rather familiar (spot the NoBMobber )...?
Bike Tax - Are they serious??

Dunno how they would enforce it, number plates???
How to fix your Garmin Edge - Extreme Edition
We've previously talked about fixing Garmin Edge units here: http://nobmob.com/node/7864
And in that other thread there was a link to someone who bypassed the spring loaded connector for power.
Well, recently, Steve01 threw his old Edge 305 at me in disgust and taking up the challenge I decided to have a bash at fixing it. Here's what I did...
8.5Kg Full Sus
For the weight weenies. 18.89lb. That's 8.57Kg!
Although it's cheating a bit with a few too many scum components.
Solo24hr Results
Just spoke to Dylan and although everyone is fried looks like all the riders put in an Epic effort and there are podiums all over the place!
Official results not out yet, but he says category results for the mob are:
Damien 7th SS. John 2nd. Critty 3rd. Vanina 3rd overall - 1st in cat! Gary 4th.
That's from his twitter, so sorry for anyone missed (140 char limit).
There was laughter in the background just now as I spoke to him - clearly they are all mad!
Paris-Roubaix tonight @ 10:10 on SBS
For those that don't know, the Paris-Roubaix is probably the most acceptable Scum race for MTB riders to watch. 259Km 'road' race. According to the official site, including 52.9Km of cobblestones this year.
Yes, scummers, on scum bikes, riding cobblestones. Interesting
Check it out if you can't sleep

APC replaced eAccelerator
Last night (Friday 11th) I changed the server caching mechanism from eAccelerator to APC.
It would be interesting to see if anyone could actually notice the difference. Can you?
Don't think I can, but APC is better supported and should be more stable which was the real reason behind it.
andersons and oaks (hot laps)
today i did the andersons trail in 1hr 40 from station to station, then dropped in for oaks station to station in 1hr 16. i'd be interested in seeing what the fastest times are for these rides, i thought those times were pretty sharp.
Any standing water at Manly?
Given the amount of water up around Terrey Hills, though it best to ask.... is there any standing water at Manly today?
Just there are a couple rides planned there and if it's too wet might be best to find an alternate venue?
Latest Trail Additions to the Awaba XC and build day details
Its been a while since I have thrown up any updates of the trails, so here is a few photos of the latest at Awaba. I seem to have met a number of people from the Northern Beaches who have made the trip up, so I hope those of you who do come up have enjoyed whats on offer.
Next build day is set down for Sunday the 19th April. New single trail will be cut in so you never have to ride the bog at the intersection of frogmouth and Jenkins road again. We will also be starting new single trail at the top of Frogmouth (see last photo).

Mont 24 Hr Wrap-up
Hi guys.
This is just a quick word of thanks to those who came down for our little romp amongst the pines last weekend. We've had a lot of email, SMS and phone calls over the last week and it seems you all had a pretty nice time. Thanks to those who responded by the way, it means a lot to us. Thanks also to the nice folks who came up at the end of the race to say how much they liked the event. It's a big job running a Mont, but it is all worthwhile when there's smiles all round.
