Update on Tees
A quick update on tees.
Well, the order is a little complicated but have now got some pricing and they are all under 30 bucks (even the LS), for tee without a back print think it will be 23-ish.
There is a slight problem though in that not everyone filled in the colours for the print. And I think some people can't possibly want what I think they have put in the print.
For example, the vast majority of people who wanted chocolate shirt have asked for red/black print, which will look nice. Some have asked for red/white and some for even blue/white. On chocolate - yerch!
Lost computer at DW
Did I read somewhere that one of the mob lost their trip computer on trail at DirtWorks?
If so, this thread may interest you http://www.rotorburn.com/forums/showthread.php?t...
Cancelled Rides
Has anyone noticed that the calendar has changed? No? Well do a hard refresh (control-R) for most and you might see that cancelled rides now show in strike through.
This means when you cancel a ride just edit it and change the status to 'Cancelled' (or one of the other reasons). No need to change the subject and no more silly 'Terrey Hills *** CANCELLED DUE TO SOFTIES ***' titles.
Enjoy!
clip in peddles
Having just completed the DW100 with flat peddles (I think i was the only one that was not clipped in) i think its about time for me to graduate to clip ins.
I mainly ride Red Hill and have seen some unfortunate incidents with people not clipping out in time..
Looking at whats available, I see that there are some clip in peddles that are incorporated in a flat peddle, seems that this might be useful for both occasions.
Should I bother with those or are they just the worst of both ( not a good clip in and not a good flat peddle )..
thanks in advance
New Bike Computer
I lost my bike computer over the weekend
I really should know better than opening this can of worms, but can anyone recommend one that isn't likely to ping off my bike when I huck a jump? In particular features I am looking for: wireless, heart rate monitor, informative display, good resistance to cross talk and interference, water resistant and all of the usual cycle functions (cadence not required).
The Edge looks great but is quite pricey and looks as if it could bounce around a lot unless you weld it on.
sports osteopath/physio
Hey guys,
We are just looking for some advise as to possible osteopaths/phsyios etc that have a cycling background.
V is suffering from nerve pain in her leg and needs to get it sorted ASAP.
Any suggestions from you guys would be most helpful.
Cheers
ChainReaction "NOT AVAILABLE OUTSIDE THE EU"
Has any ordered and got delivered anything marked as "NOT AVAILABLE OUTSIDE THE EU" by ChainReaction.
Is this strictly enforced by CRC, as Wiggle does not have similar limitation?. However, they may have been different contractual agreement between the Manufacturer and a particular Retailer.
Thanks.

Sandy Trail - Cooyong Rd Terrey Hills - HORSE RIDERS!
Guys a quick comment - this is my first post here, wasnt sure where to put this...
Just got back from a ride along the Sandy Trail, at the end of Cooyong Rd, Terrey Hills and wanted to double check on the legalities of riding it after a run in with a couple of rather animated horse riders.
Long story short, came accros them at the bottoms of hills Twice (once each way). Stopped as soon as id spotted them both times but the horses were spooked. The riders went ape s*#t, to the point I was punched by one of them, and then pushed off my bike and on my wet and muddy ass.
Loop RNP through Heathcote NP
Last time I tried to do a long loop in the RNP I discovered the track that used to run by the train line (from Waterfall to Heathcote) was fenced off and there were security guards around to stop you riding down there. Had to resort to riding up the highway which was slightly annoying.
cascades
What is legal to ride at the Cascades. I note the Quarry Track has a "No Vehicles" sign at the top only, which means no bikes (those 2 guys were booked recently for just this-remember). Does this mean it is illegal to ride down. Is up OK as there is no sign at the bottom?. A bit further along at the track that ends up in Linigen Place there is again a "no vehicles" sign, this time in the direction to stop people who have ridden up the Quarry Track (they're stuffed aren't they as they can ride down again cos of the previous sign)

Maxxis Ranchero Tyres
Does anyone use or has anyone used Maxxis Ranchero tyres?
I'm going to convert to tubeless next week and I was in my local bike shop today talking about it with them and they said the Maxxis Ranchero was a good all round tyre for the rear. Now I don't know if he was just saying that as he had a few on the shelf and he can't get rid of them, but I'd never heard of them and I certainly hadn't seen any reports on them.
I've looked on CRC website and all of the comments are good, apart from not being to good in the wet but which none wet specific tyre is!

Stem Flipping
Hiya All,
Just a couple of quick questions on flipping the stem on your bike.
What are the pros and cons for doing this ? And what do people recommend for endurance racing eg. 100km vs sprint events eg. 8hr events ?

661 Evo Lite XC Knee Guards
Hi Everyone, first post for me.
I have recently got into riding, but have a dodgy knee thanks to one of the chain bolts on the dam. I got myself a set of the specialised knee / shin guards, and they are great for a couple of laps, but I was wanting to look at something a bit lighter, such as the 661 guard. Has anyone used them? I'd be interested to know how comfortable they are, and whether they pinch behind the knee?
