Still a mudfest. While I didn't ride today (due to a fussy shoulder following last weekend's Mont 24hr) I did check with people coming off the track at the Hydraulic Lab.
The consensus among those who care was that the trail should be closed. The singletrack coming down from Allambie is reported as copping a thrashing, and getting extremely eroded and rutted. The amount of mud clogging up tyres and the rest of the bike I saw is consistent with that picture.
Not sure why Council is being so hands-off. Is their Facebook page broken or do they just not care any more? Weird.
