Status:
Red/Closed

Rode this morning, and there are no signs indicating that it's closed. NPWS website also says it's open.

Update "All Walking Tracks and Fire Trails will be CLOSED whilst there is a Total Fire Ban in place 20-21/11/2009"

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

Yeah... they only have so many TFB signs and the website is hopeless. For example, the NPWS site talks about not lighting fires during TFB but doesn't mention blanket trail closures. It was like this yesterday when there were TFB closure signs all over as Hans pointed out.

Did you see any rangers? Or speak to any? Anyone feel like calling a local rangers office to ask?

As a side issue, if you believe the NPWS website you can't ride anywhere in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park (just check out the maps devoid of cycling symbols), clearly rubbish!

Ah, this page says next to LCNP, "All Walking Tracks and Fire Trails will be CLOSED whilst there is a Total Fire Ban in place 20-21/11/2009"

Sorry, therefore changing this update to closed.
