Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Amber/Some Issues Quite a few puddles, and needing some work in places. Debatably ridable..
What's with all the grumps though? Not one person returned my greeting tonight

I did.
But by the time I recognised you and said hi you were out of earshot. ![Laughing out loud Laughing out loud](https://nobmob.com/sites/all/modules/smileys/packs/Example/lol.png)
Now, a few heads-ups:
The clay pan underneath the last roll off on the 19th Hole is starting to get washed out - a wheel catcher if you're unprepared.
On the section where you drop down to the right off Cootamundra Drive and loop around to the left, about halfway through there's a big puddle on the left. Take care with this one - it's a bit deep, and will probably get deeper. It's a front wheel catcher for the unwary - stay right.
With all the water sitting on the track I'd be inclined to leave it a few days. My brand new XTR chain was sounding decidedly sick by ride's end.
Oops, sorry
The majority of the trail isn't too bad (if somewhat slippery), but the 19th Hole and all the way to the top of the run from Southern Cross Way is atrocious, worst I have ever seen some sections.
Forgive my noob-ness....the 19th hole? Is that the rock platform over looking the golf course?
Nah, the 19th Hole is the section from the firetrail at Alambie to the kids playground near Cootamundra Drive.
Ie. from here:
... to just past here:
Ahh yep, got it. Thanks Rob, I was close....lol
Did a couple of laps today. I reckon the bit on the run down to the lab, "Planter boxes" I think it's called, will claim a scalp or two at the top. It's pretty chopped up, but dry at least.
So is heartbreak hill the rise between the creek and the 19th hole?
