Cascades

Great. The sand is hard packed and the clay mud is dry. About as good as Cascades gets. Amzing what one hot sunny day does.

You're determined to beat me up that climb to Acron, aren't you? LOL

Hi folks, just to let you know that there will be a whole lot of trail runners on Sunday 7th Nov. Fund raiser with family groups doing the Cascades loop - Acron - Cascades - Quarry track pass the pump house and then back via bottom of Kitchener St. Take care out there and try to avoid this time. If you are in the mood "sign up" - http://www.barecreektrailrun.com
Cheers, Pappa

@PappaSmurf - Thanks for the heads up. Probably best to post this as it's own update the day before and give it amber status. Then post another one the day after giving it green (if it's not raining, etc) again.

Interesting that NPWS gives permission for organised events such as this on NPWS turf, yet they want to keep organised events for mountain bikers out?

To be fair, the Dirtworks up at St Albans covers a lot of land managed by NPWS.

This couldn't happen in Northern Sydney as there aren't enough loops to make a course. Most of the trails are out and back - no good for a mountain bike event Sad
