Pretty dry today despite the midweek rains, with some puddles on the uphill side of water bars only.

The deep sand drift just after the entrance next to the fire brigade is all washed away, leaving masses of loose babyhead rocks.

Lots of loose rocks scattered on the downhill side of the waterbars on the fast downhill section, the compaction line is pretty vague in spots. Might be an idea to wear some shinguards if you want to do this section fast! Eye-wink

All good. Some puddles and sticky sand. Watch out for Kamikaze Wallabies near the Fire Brigade section!
