Red/Closed Even wetter than yesterday.
Unless white water rafting is your thing, best to stick to indoor sports.
Looking to be wet all week, but the good news is we have a build day coming up........http://glenrocktrailalliance.com/node/21866

on Sat. so we can have a quiet build day & get some work done not interrupted by "weekend warriors" having fun in the mud & wrecking "our" trails
Flip side, gives us a chance to allow people to put a face to us and the importance of the work done on these days.
I'd prefer people weren't riding, but if they do, coming across us is a good thing.
The weather was doing my head in so I went for a run up there today. Not a single tyre track on the fire trails to the bluff and snakes and buckshot, tip trail completely untouched. Maybe the message is sinking in Sammydog, so don't feel like your efforts are in vain.
Crap...... suns out
Yep sure is and I just got back from a road ride and saw at at least 8 riders in there................
what is wrong with these people-it must be so wet in there!!!!
Just drove past to see a moto heading in via the water tower car park. No idea how he squeezed through the fence, but he did. By the time I had turned around he was gone. I spoke to a few guys who were getting ready to head in. They ended up packing up after a chat. They suggested some open / closed signs would be a huge help.
about keeping motos out?
I'm sure if they had the resources to throw at they would. Unfortunately having a permanent presence in the park capable of pulling people up along with fencing and restricting access takes money they don't have.
I can tell you they want motos in there as much as we do and they do their best with what they have to try and curb the issue.
we are more than happy to spread the word to everyone through the shop of any major trail closures or news. I'll try and keep a close eye on the site.
And 'education' are going to be more effective than signs or even the status lights on their own.
Thanks J.
sweeeeet thanks J-DOG, having a reputable shop supporting sustainable trail use will be a big help.
Thanks Uncle J. The Facebook status you guys put up was awesome.
Feel the drift love. N
