40% of the fire trails have deep puddles
expect to get dirty and muddy

The east heathcote section from the retirement village parralel to the railway is in the worst state I have ever seen it in over 12 years. People continue to ride and are going around the muddy holes and turning the edges into mud piles as well and widening the trail. Please avoid it for a while
personally I think the trail should be closed for at least a week.
Maybe all these people riding it in the wet are planning to attend the next trail maintenance day. They are the 3rd Saturday of every month. Starting at 9am, meeting at the Ranger station off Farnell Ave. It would be nice to get some locals to attend.
