Red/Closed Went for a ride last night after we had 2mm of rain the night before, and it was quite a lot wetter than wednesday. So far 12mm overnight - it will be very bad through the weekend (unless we get a 42oC day). management trails only and mud guards! for sunday at best - I'll be dodging the prams on fernleigh track.....
Do you have more information?

Bloody nora.....
Does anyone wanna buy my Trance, seems i am never going to get to use it. This will be 5 weeks since i sat on it due to rain.
Typical. Work all week and then the rain buggers the weekend.
just need my weekend MTB fix after a weeks work
my first reaction on seeing all status's red was Bloody nora, then I see the first comment... Lightened my otherwise dampened spirits a little.
carpark empty on the way to Charlestown at 9:15 & then still empty an hour later & no tyre tracks of anyone riding-just walked the start of Kenny's & Double Barrel which are very wet
Yeah, I got so down that I went and brought a roadie! Given the current climate outlook it seems I may use it more than my off road-er. Bought a nice Trek 1.5 from the great crew at active cycles. Gonna give the loop the lake a belt, at least that way the legs keep getting some sort of workout. Gonna take some getting used to these weird drop bars though.
Sorry, not a Glenrock report. But saw a rider down on the Fernleigh Track this arvo, it looked pretty bad. Already plenty of people looking after him so I just went on my way. Hope he is ok, the poor bugger.
Did a firetrail loop this morning, status red all the way I'm afraid. Even the firetrails were drowned and I liveonmm the southside of Glenrock and we have had virtually no rain since friday night!! Is going to take a fair few consecutive dry and windy days before any of th esingletrack is going to be usable. Aside from Snakes and Ladders that shows what great trailbuilding can do. No standing water, no mud and minimal rutting and that appears to be from people braking going down instead of up...
yeh Snakes n Ladders & Buckshot do dry well
And if only riders would stick to climbing it the trail would be great.
Unfortunately the ones descending are not only poor map readers but also poor riders.
I'm truly amazed by the amount of skidding.
Went out for a little dusk ride (keeping to the the known dry stuff and mgmt trails) - on the way back home, zuess land was about 2 days from dry imo.
