Glenrock State Conservation Area update for 05 Mar
went up to do some trail maintenance yesterday. If it weren't for riders riding in the wet believe it or not, the trails would likely have been amber by yesterday arvo. Trails were largely. A couple of corners were boggy and rutted, if people stayed of the trails, they would not be so rutted, and they would drain water better. I did some scalloping on KW's corners to the best of my ability (really needed a mattock to shape it better) however it really does need a solid days maintenance. Also, we need to have a chat about the sharp left hand corner after the tree fall detour on KW's. Rock armoring? or leave it as is??

meant to add (trails were largely dry)
going to go and check out the maintenance work i did this arvo. Hoping it held up. i counted 7 riders going along KW in the 45 minutes i was up there on Sunday
was there remorse for riding when wet or a who gives f^&k attitude?
We had a plan to fix that corner, but at the time the NPWS were going to remove the tree.
Myself I think it's better left there.
If you would like to do some work there let me know, send me a PM, I can organise materials etc. Oh and probably give you a hand.
for sure. i'll be in touch. I'd like to take a day of next week or the week after to have a crack. Needs a fair bit of work.
