Red/Closed very heavy rain showers early this morning would have the trails soaking wet-just as they were drying up!!!

I'm depressed.....
I'm depressed.....
Depressed? I've spent more hours riding up and down the Fernleigh this year than I have with dirt between my knobs.
One more week of rain and I'll be looking for a house fronting the Atacama Desert ... Either that, or buying a moto and cruising around the 'rock like all the cool kids.
Excellent riding at San Pedro De Atacama........
It always rains.
What if I say this is the worst I've ever see it, will that make it stop?
Well I'll give it a go.
This is the worst Glenrock has ever been, the longest period of rain and coldest summer for 40 years.
We will probably get snow.
The riding will be no good for at least a month.
funnily enough, i'm hoping for a wet weekend. Grock is going to need a solid week of warm to dry out i predict.
So no chance 4 the weekend u rekon ?
was a great lookin morning now lookin crap
I walked down Surfers walk for a surf this morning and the trail was prob the worst i have seen it for many years, just soooooo slopy, water flowing everywear
yes, the worst for a summer for sure. i went for a ride down the fernleigh today, and dropped in gunclub for a look just went down the road and then down the powerlines to have a look at reload (one of the driest tracks there is normally) - and it was an inch deep river for the first half - just a flowing creek - wetter than i've ever seen it more than 24 hours after rain.
it'll be a horrible ride for the whole weekend unfortunately - we need a tape across it - especially for kennys etc which will be in real slop
cause if it is nice & sunny can we imagine the damage a carpark full of riders will do?
Ive just heard from a mate there is a specialized demo day over there and it's ride anywhere you want for half an hour. That'll do Kenny's the world of good. Not. What a shame. Blue skies, sunny day yes, but we all know its no where near ready for serious traffic. It's gonna take a while for a good recovery.
we'll see all the Drift guys at the next trail maintenance day ...
Has anyone seen it today?
