Ok, after what seemed like endless rain, finally the single tracks at winmalee have finally dried enough for riding, there is still a bit of boggy riding, i have filled most of it, all drainage is working and fine, still take care at the nursery end, rain has made it a lot harder to ride, please dont ride around mud patches, there are some that have suspicously widened, single track up above the grotto(fall line) is fine, if not a lot harder now, while the grotto run is just about all trimmed and finished, it has not been affected by rain at all, just fern invasion, blue gum is still very very boggy in 2 places, although npws has indicated it may do something with this section, all else is a goer!

Do you have more information?

I had enquired with NPWS to get the bog holes fixed but I have been told by NPWS that Blue Gum Swamp has been scheduled for grading.

Yeah John Paul said the same, it really needs it down there Tim, i havent ridden that part since about 16 months ago, it is just too bad, just got back from working on the single, it is awesome now, taken forever to get it back!

I hope they don't grade Blue Gum, when it is dry it is one of the best flowing fireroad/almost single tracks around. Whack it in big ring and burn your legs off.
All they need to do is fix the 2 big puddles with a bit of digging, some gravel, then put the dirt back on.

that was what Tina was saying, just fix them 2 problem areas, it will come back better than ever, always does, all the single has come up pretty smicko, just some more tweaking, making sure drainage is doing its thing, the nursery run i finished today, it should hold up well, grotto run needs some trimming to finish it, that whole fall line, coaster roller grotto area is not even affected by rain, but the jump after the grotto is kaput, its got me scratching my head!..might need some help in the near future with work down at the grotto, anybody keen to pitch in for a couple of hours??
