Ourimbah State Forest update for 10 Apr
Smashed out a few laps admiring the wonderful work done by the trail fairies in the last few days. Many areas have been smoothed out and the Graveyard is now in good condition. Short Meadows is still the preferred option as the lower section of Long Meadows is extremely rutted, which is a bummer because the top of Browns is so good right now. Lots of locals out this morning: wallabies, goannas and a Red Belly with a Maxxis Ikon imprint.

Yes i did it yesterday, is nice they re graded the fire road too. i would be tempted to call it a GREEN as the long meadows isn't the normal primary XC loop anyway. Also, the DH track is in fine form, smashed out a (drifty) run on the XC bike...
Point taken. Thought I would list it as amber due to the Long Meadows' condition and also the state of the Lost Forest. Wouldn't want city slickers to be disappointed with not being able to ride the whole track.
