Manly Dam update for 26 Aug
All good. Quite busy this morning. The track is getting cleaner and faster as it dries and there is more traffic.
Somebody dumbed down a few of the steps at the end of the track before the Hydraulics Lab
Lots of rabbits about - funny how last week they were baiting foxes, and this week we have a plague of rabbits. Also saw two chickens in the rock garden alongside Wakehurst Parkway.
The Butcher of Gibbs Street was sitting there, but he didn't attack me this time
Do you have more information?

No attack from the butcher bird for Stefan and i this morning which was great
Its still the driest i have seen in a long long time.
Had a great lap this morning, best i have had i na while. The SB66 is a beast
trail is dry and fast ! shaved off 2 mins from my previous PB
I thought I was safe for a second going through the corner, but I was wrong , the butcher bird swooped and attacked but narrowly missed my cheeks.
I'm convinced that it's not the noisy miner now
But she is active in the Manly Vale school car park - she only attacks cars' side mirrors, and only if the cars are parked facing the school
Went through the corner unharmed today. I did wave my right arm like a maniac while riding up that hill
Yeah, I saw the noisy miner doing that recently. Had a chuckle - doesn't like what it sees in the mirror
which is why I decided she isn't a male Noisy Miner
So whos riding there next?
Anyone riding Sunday morning? about 8am
