Green/Open All nice & dry with awesome weather too!-although on "High Roller" someone has dumbed down the creek crossing by removing "Robs rock" rather than learning to ride it!!!!
Do you have more information?

Is that the big bolder in the g-out?
Always hated that, not that I removed it. I found it dangerous more than technical.
was a nice little techy rock which just required some concentration/skill to ride-whats wrong with that?
Must have been a 26er. 29ers just roll over it.....
A thought, there is no b-line around it, so if a dad is taking his young-un in there and he only has 20" wheels, he isn;t going to have fun over it.
why just move it?-we have a website here where if you have a question, opinion or idea then start a discussion or contact someone at NPWS or GTA & try to get it fixed.
It was a fast flowy section, into a high(isn) speed g-out. A football sized speed bump there isn't technical to me, it is dangerous. Thats just my opinion though.
I agree, I would prefer things aren't modified without going through the appropriate channels, the removal of rock at the top of the BJ's trail filter is another example, but that rock would have likely gone eventually anyway.
A better option in the g-out would be to continue the small rockgarden in the run in to armour all the way through the section.
I have made plans with Simon (NPWS) to have that section sorted.
As much as we try to avoid sub-surface drainage that section was causing continual problems so we are planning to regulate the depth of the 'billabong' then build a 'pipe bridge'. I already have the materials sorted, we just haven't had time to do it.
It's definitely better all round if these things are brought up via the forum and then approved by the NPWS.
As much as I thought the rock was becoming dangerous I hope that the current 'alteration' dosen't make it worse.
Hey if anyone has any other thoughts on this can we start a new thread 'cause this on will disappear when someone updates the status.
