Green/Open Still in great condition, nice and grippy. No puddles, although there was a bit of water overflowing just after the creek

I was going to mention it.
The Creek itself is down to a single tiny trickle, but half way between Curl Curl Creek and Heartbreak Hill is another new creek (two streams) flowing quite strongly.
I cleared some obstructions on the downhill side of each stream so water wouldn't continue to back up across the track and observed that the water was very clean. My guess is a broken water main somewhere uphill or maybe the Warringah Aquatic Centre has sprung a leak.
I've never seen a flow like this in this location before, so something strange has happened.
