Good Afternoon Mountain Bikers
Due to urgent asbestos removal on the fire trail, the mountain bike track between Gibbs St, Manly Vale and Water Reserve Rd, North Balgowlah will be closed to bikes and pedestrians from tomorrow 13 June until after the weekend, unless otherwise advised. Please check Council’s social media for any updates on track status. The remainder of the mountain bike track remains open, riders are asked to find an alternative route to complete the circuit.

The rest of the track is open but is there any way around?
There is but it's not easy, you have to turn left at Gibbs st down Sunshine st onto Condamine and head south. Turn right onto Balgowlah rd and cross over burnt bay bypass before turning right at Bangaroo to join the standard loop.
