Dry and dusty. Some issues are arising on Shaft with cockheads moving rocks and shortcutting corners. There is a right hand corner after the climb out of the creek area that is getting really trashed and eroded. Soon it will become as worse as the section of trail before the 'big dip'. I don't know what the solution is there but it needs some work very soon.
It would be great to replace the rocks that have been moved from 'Kenny's' and next to the tree on 'It happens'. Maybe we could replace them with large spikes or barbed wire?. Are there any trailwork days soon??

If people don't want to ride over rocks then stick to the fire trails...

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

With all you are saying there regarding work needed.

As you, and everyone, would have noticed very little has been happening recently. We are at an 'interesting' stage with the NPWS.
After the events of last year they were ready to at least talk about doing things differently, but management, Government and financial problems have seen the whole project sidelined.
At this stage it's very difficult to commit what little resources we do have to doing work which may well be replaced or redone if/when we get to review the Plan of Management.

The NPWS management have agreed to meet again in the new year, I'd say it will be March before the get organised.
Len and I have agreed to be there but feel this leaves us in a state of limbo.

This topic deserves a thread of it's own.
