There's a fair bit of smoke from the Golf Course through to Heartbreak Hill and along the fire trail. Ok for a bit of poor man's altitude training but if you like clear air maybe look elsewhere.
There are signs up saying the Dam will be closed tomorrow (Sunday) for back burning.
Also I nearly ran over a red bellied black snake just as you go down then up before the Golf Course sniggle.
Do you have more information?

Just watching from seaforth about 3 or 4 helicopetrs Picking up water from the Dam. Most likeley controlling the backburning near the pipeline today. There is smoke in the air but certainly nothing that seems out of controll.
How is the dam since the recent rain? Also, are there any issues resulting from the hazard reduction burn on Sunday?
Rode the dam yesterday and today, couple of small puddles, but overall pretty good. You can see where they have done the back burning.
