Rode Serrata and Gahnia today. Green as, bru.

I need a dropper seatpost!

Do you have more information?

No one needs a dropper post, Hawkeye Eye-wink

but a non-adjustable carbon post in a carbon frame with a bolt-up collar set to XC height doesn't work too well here. Sticking out tongue

Great to run into you today at the start of Gahnia!

Your seat post always scares me but you made it down ok.

Riding right off the back gripping the seat post with both hands and steering the bike fighter pilot style seemed to work well for you Smiling

Either track is no problem with xc height seatpost on a hardtail.
Interesting, but no problem!

... Simon was laughing at how high my saddle is, if you must know. So cruel Eye-wink

Rode with a dropper a few weeks ago at the Trek demo day and didn't much like it, which surprised me. But after today I'm going to look at them again.

Interesting that the MY2015 Scalpels have a port in the seat tube for a dropper!

My 1 year old Trance came with one and I struggled to find the need until I attacked the downhill before the lab using it. The extra maneuverability once you get that seat out of the way is really impressive. It's not just getting your weight back, you can move the bike side to side better as well. I'm now convinced of the benefits.

Can anyone answer if they have started building the link track from currie road up to penrose? Clearly defined with marker flags and some berm and rock structures?
