In case you were wondering, it was me that shouted your name while you were waiting for a gap in the never ending stream of roadies careering down Mona Vale Road

I didn't recognise my name and just thought it was one of the riders was yelling at another rider in the never-ending stream that was flowing past. Didn't recognise you in the crowd. It took bloody long while to get across MV Rd, but was easier on the way back.
So the ankle is coming along OK still?
Yeah, improving. Two steps forward, one back.
I rolled it again on Thursday when I had to unclip unexpectedly and couldn't get the left foot out quickly enough due to it being a bit weak. Fortunately I had a car next to me with a sympathetic lady driver so I didn't get yelled at for bumping her car.
Have been working on exercising the heel kickout action and it was much better today.
Won't be ready for singletrack riding for a few weeks yet. Can't risk putting it down on uneven surfaces and potentially rolling it at the moment.
....best to get it healed and strong. I used to tape mine up for basketball after a few ligament tears, but not sure how practical that would be for mtb riding.
